Aims of this wiki

This article is part of the trasisiton of the wiki from a personal scriatch pad to a more complex and full repository of geek data and help and documentation. As such it is considered to be a statement of general intent rather than anything more rigid.
[edit] History of the Lord Matt wiki
This wiki was located at Lord Matt dot CO dot UK scince it's inception three (It could well be longer as time does pass...) years ago. However, the domain was forced to move to a more powerfull server and an error in the backup lost all changes from before s point back in 2007 (about a years worth).
This was possibly quite slight as the wiki was not updated very often.
After that it ws restored on 10th April 2008 to the lormattandyou dot com domain under the wiki subdomain. This was to better put the wiki to work serving others as is the aim of the Lord Matt and you domain name.

Before this change the wiki was used as:
- A scratch pad
- A test suit
- A documentation space
- For fun and jokes[
- For ongoing collaberation on random topics
- As a store for help text
- fiction writing
- Walled gardens
These things will be continued more or less.

The new aim of the wiki is to tie up loose ends
- To make sure that the walled gardens of funniness are actually spelt correctly, are properly walled or intergrated and are funny. This will enable them to be moved to a seperate website if the need arrises of form a part of this one.
- To index and cross reference things
- To mark Matt's opinion peaces as such and index them seperately
- To build a usefull index of facts and documentation on all Lord Matt and community initiated projects
- To continue to enjoy a certain level of off-beat-ness even as we try to assert gentle order on things.
