This is an abstract of the plugins awareness as a series of simple yes no questions.

The "questions" are listed below with example answers. Generally the answer is Yes|No|No* the first to answers are obviouse but the third "No*" might not be. This answer ("No*") means "no, the standard was not set" or in other words the question ahs been made but the requirments have yet to be finalised (or the plugin writer didn't uinderstand them). At this stage this is acceptable.

The date is broken up to nigate tricky formatting issues that differ from location to location.

The version number MUST match the version number in the plugin itself

NP_MD5: is an MD5 hash of the NP_* file and can be used to perform checks on currentness on the EW file. Logo and URL: provide a logo and option url for the plugin (this might be used by a logo display plugin to give credit at the discression of the blog owner. They are currently optional as details concerning thier place in the scheeme of things are still being worked out.
