Design By Committee

Often a bad idea where everybodies design ideas must be given equal space and time regardless of the idea's merit or appropriateness. This outright design failure occours when skill and expirence are not sufficient to the task in hand.

A project exists because there is a problem to be solved. The nature of the problem dictates the nature of the solution with the requirement that the team take the path of development that follows best practice and maximum robustness from the problem anaysis to the solution as swiftly as is reasonable.

In this committies are not required.
