[edit] About

This plugin offers a simple wiki style markup to give:

  • Interwiki links
  • Inline tags
  • Basic MediaWiki syntax

It also adds

  • BB Code markup

Lord Matt uses this plugin extensivly to allow tagging by typing [[tag:SomeWord]] while writeing his blog post.

[edit] Shortfall

Currently the strikeout code does not notice line breaks so the often used attribution mathods (double dash, name, link) crosses everything out. This is a known weakness and is planned to be fixed in some future upgrade.

[edit] Other Plans

  • The methodology of markup is going to be moved to external libraries which can then be added to.
  • A new custom event will be respected to allow otehr plugins to call for mark up to be carried out by the plugin. see: Extend Aware.

[edit] Reviews

Lord Matt loves his plugin and would give it a gold award but that would not do as he wrote it. In fact I rely on it so much that I feel the need to install it on all blogs I set up. --Lord Matt 04:17, 21 May 2006 (MDT)
