Thanet District Council

Thanet is a small island (technically) that is part of the English county of Kent. Politically Thanet is a district of Kent.

It is here that the main contention takes hold and is focus around a website TDC Exposed which without mercy beat and harangued the councils handling of a recent renovation works.

Prior to this TDC Exposed as a web-site had been content to moan gently about the lack of care the green spaces were given and backed this up with some rather shocking photographs.

Things started to get more serious when in September of 2005 a post was made indicating that the council had threatened to evict the people that posted the website without addressing the claims and demands they made.

Since that rather unnecessary threat was made bloggers have been using the power of tagging to shout-out on this topic tagging their posts Thanet+Council in order to be listed togeather on the famous technorati site. A feed of the latest tags on this subject is available here: Thanet Council RSS.
