Things that rule scale

From LordMattWiki

Jump to: navigation, search

An imaginary scale that measures how cool/rocking things are where. Runs from 0 to 10 where 0 is very poor and 10 rocks your socks.

Naturally scores of 11+ are not unheard of in cases where something "rocked your world, baby". Equally natural are the scores less than 0 where the subject in question totally failed not to suck.

a -10 could be said to totally blow chunks.

example: Live Journal rated -4 on this scale for it's total lack of site feed for free users and inflexible approach to the rest of the world.

This scale is most often used to compare things that suck (for example Live Journal is better than Linux simple because LJ only rates -4 here as Linux scores a massive -9 for being so damn hard to get started with)

(interestingly Linus also scores +12 for being so much more secure and nerdy than anything microsoft wrote (in theory))
